How information is handled when you read PropertyFixNow, follow a link, or contact us.

1. Who we are and what this covers
PropertyFixNow is owned and operated by Mediali Agency LLC, with an office in Casper, Wyoming, United States. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to that company in its operation of PropertyFixNow. Our publication is primarily intended for readers in the United States.
This policy covers information handled through propertyfixnow.com and correspondence about the publication. It does not describe the separate services offered on the operator's agency website or the practices of independent websites we link to. This is a privacy notice, not a request for consent to every use of information described here.
2. Current and planned services
You can read the site without creating an account. We do not offer user accounts, reader comments, or an email newsletter. You can contact us by email. Our contact form is configured to use Resend for email delivery and Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection. Form submission is available only when the required services are enabled; otherwise, the contact page offers email as the alternative.
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used; Website analytics explains what it receives. The publication is supported by display advertising from Google AdSense, shown to visitors outside the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland; Advertising explains how it works and the choices you have. We may add affiliate links in future. As of the date above, no affiliate tracking service has been activated on the site; before introducing one, we will update this notice with the relevant information practices.
3. Information we receive
Information you choose to send
If you email us, we receive your email address, any name or other contact details you supply, your message, and any files or information you include. When the contact form is available, it asks for your name, email address, topic, and message. The form does not accept file attachments. A correction request may identify an article and describe your experience or concern. We use the details needed to understand and handle your request. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details, government identification, health records, or other sensitive information that is unnecessary for your enquiry.
Form submissions are processed through Cloudflare and sent to Resend for delivery to contact@propertyfixnow.com. Resend receives the contact details and message content supplied in the form, including the selected topic and any links in your message, along with email-delivery information. We use those details to receive and respond to your enquiry. Resend explains its processing in its privacy policy and data processing addendum. When you submit the form, the Google tag on the page also sends contact details you entered, such as your name and email address, to Google in hashed form, as described in Website analytics. It does not send your message.
Website delivery and technical information
The website is configured for hosting and delivery through Cloudflare. Delivering a page involves processing technical information such as an IP address, requested URL, request time, and browser or device information. Hosting and security services may also process error, diagnostic, and security-event information. The details retained depend on the services and settings in use. This information can relate to a visitor or device. Cloudflare describes its handling of end-user information in its privacy policy.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics, a measurement service provided by Google LLC, to understand in aggregate how the site is used: which articles are read, how readers find them, and where the site could be easier to use. We load it through Google Tag Manager. When you view a page, your browser sends Google Analytics information such as the page address and title, the page or website that referred you, the date and time, your browser, device type, operating system, language, and screen size, and your approximate location (such as city, region, and country), which Google derives from your IP address. It also records interactions on the page, such as scrolling, clicks on links to other websites, file downloads, and starting or submitting a form.
The Google tag is also set to detect contact details that you type into a form on the site, such as an email address, phone number, name, or postal address, and to send them to Google when the form is submitted. Our contact form asks for your name and email address. Before these details leave your browser, they are hashed: converted by a one-way function into a code that does not contain the original text but that Google can compare with information it already holds. Google uses the match to give us more complete measurement, such as recognizing the same person across devices and reporting the general demographics and interests of our readers, and keeps the data for the retention period described in section 7. The tag does not send the message you write, and it sends none of these details when your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal or when you are connecting from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland.
Google Analytics recognizes a returning browser with the cookies described in section 5. Google signals, which would let Google associate this information with signed-in Google accounts, is turned off, and we do not use Google Analytics for advertising. Google explains its processing in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
If you are connecting from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we ask before measuring your visit. Until you choose Accept on the cookie notice, nothing from Google Tag Manager or Google Analytics is loaded: no cookies are set and nothing is sent to Google. If you choose Reject, it stays that way, and the site works the same. Accept covers measurement only; advertising cookies stay off. To know whether to ask, each page asks our own server whether your connection comes from one of those regions. The answer is a yes or a no, and your country is not stored. Where the location cannot be determined, we ask.
Elsewhere, including the United States, Google Analytics runs unless you turn it off. Cookie settings, at the foot of every page, lets you accept or reject measurement cookies at any time. Rejecting removes the Google Analytics cookies from your browser, and Google Tag Manager is no longer loaded.
If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request not to sell or share your information and not to receive targeted advertising: the Google tags are told not to use advertising cookies, not to personalize advertising, and not to send Google the contact details you enter in a form. Where measurement is otherwise on, Google Analytics still counts your visit. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control explains the signal.
Contact-form security
When the form's spam check is enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile processes browser and connection signals such as your IP address, browser information, and the website where the check runs. It uses these signals to distinguish human visitors from automated traffic. Cloudflare also uses signals to improve Turnstile's bot detection, as described in its Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Cloudflare processes the submission's IP address and security token to validate the spam check and limit excessive submissions. These checks help protect the contact form from misuse. They are separate from advertising and analytics. If you cannot complete the check, you can contact us by email.
Search information
The site's search feature uses an index served with the website rather than sending searches to an external search engine. A search term can appear in the search-page URL. When that URL is requested or reloaded, it may be included in technical request information processed by the hosting service, and Google Analytics receives it as part of the page address. Do not enter confidential or sensitive information into search.
Contributor information
Our public author pages contain names, biographies, photographs, topic assignments, and professional profile links supplied for publication. These pages identify the people associated with our content. A contributor can contact us to request a correction or raise a privacy concern about their profile.
4. How we use information
We use the information described above for purposes connected with operating the publication, including:
- delivering pages, search results, and other requested website features;
- measuring, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve articles and navigation;
- maintaining performance, diagnosing errors, and addressing misuse or security incidents;
- answering enquiries and handling corrections, accessibility feedback, rights requests, and complaints;
- identifying contributors and maintaining accurate publication records; and
- meeting applicable legal obligations and establishing or defending legal rights when necessary.
Contacting us does not subscribe you to marketing emails or authorize publication of your private message.
5. Cookies, analytics, advertising, and browser choices
Cookies and similar technologies can store information in a browser or recognize it across visits. Google
Analytics sets first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier, which
by Google's defaults expire after two years. They let it recognize a returning browser and group page views into
visits. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, these cookies are set
only after they accept. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage under the name
pfn-consent for up to twelve months, after which we ask again; a second entry,
pfn-region, remembers for the length of your visit whether we need to ask. Neither is a cookie, and
neither is sent to us. Advertising cookies are described under Advertising. Hosting or security services may use technologies needed to
deliver and protect the site, depending on the features enabled. You can inspect, block, or delete cookies
through your browser; blocking necessary technologies can affect some website functions.
To stop Google Analytics from measuring your visits, choose Reject under Cookie settings at the foot of any page. You can also block or delete its cookies, use a browser setting or extension that blocks analytics, or install Google's Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. The site works the same with analytics blocked.
Loading an enabled Turnstile check involves contacting Cloudflare from your browser and processing the security signals described above. Browser restrictions can prevent that check or the form submission from working. Turnstile's processing is explained in the Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense to show advertisements. Google and its partners, as third-party vendors, use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or to other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet. Google explains what it collects and how it uses it at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ads Settings, and opt out of the use of cookies for personalized advertising by some third-party vendors at aboutads.info. When your browser sends Global Privacy Control, the ad script is set not to use advertising cookies or personalize ads, as described under Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are not shown advertising, and the advertising script is not loaded for them; nothing on the site asks them for advertising consent. If we add affiliate links, a link may include a referral identifier that lets a retailer attribute a purchase to this website; we will describe any such service here before it is activated.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
The site does not currently change its behavior in response to a browser's Do Not Track signal. It does honor Global Privacy Control (GPC), a browser setting that tells websites not to sell or share your personal information. When your browser sends it, the Google tags on the site are set not to use advertising cookies, not to personalize advertising, and not to send Google the contact details you enter in a form; where measurement is otherwise on, Google Analytics still counts your visit, and advertising is shown without personalization and without advertising cookies. We do not sell visitor information; Google's advertising services process information as described under Advertising, and the signal is honored for them. GPC is built into some browsers and available as an extension for others; see globalprivacycontrol.org.
6. When information is shared
Information may be disclosed as needed to:
- Service providers: providers supporting hosting, delivery, security, email, analytics, and technical operation. These include Cloudflare for website delivery and form security, Google for website analytics and advertising, and Resend for delivering enabled contact-form submissions to our inbox. The provider of the receiving mailbox also processes delivered correspondence.
- People handling your request: personnel or advisers who need the relevant details to address an enquiry, correction, or legal matter.
- Legal or safety recipients: where disclosure is required by law or necessary to investigate misuse, protect rights, or address a genuine safety or security issue.
- A successor operator: if the publication is transferred as part of a lawful business transaction, subject to applicable protections and any required notice.
We do not provide your private enquiries to advertisers for their marketing. Public contributor profiles are intentionally available to visitors. If you choose to visit an external website, it receives information through your interaction with that website under its own practices.
7. How long information is kept
Our contact-form setup does not maintain a separate database of submissions. This does not mean that messages leave no record: submitted information is handled in transit, delivered emails remain in our correspondence records, and service providers may keep delivery, security, or diagnostic logs and backups. Resend's retention periods depend on its service plan and applicable settings, as explained in its data retention guidance. Those periods are separate from how long we keep the message in our inbox.
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it serves. For correspondence, relevant factors include whether an enquiry is resolved, whether follow-up is reasonably expected, and whether a record is needed for a correction, dispute, or legal obligation. Technical records depend on hosting and security settings and the needs of any incident being investigated. Google Analytics keeps event-level data for the retention period set in our account, which is either two or fourteen months; aggregated reports are not affected by that setting. Public contributor information can remain available while it is relevant to the publication and its archive.
Retention periods therefore vary by information type and purpose. When information is no longer needed, our policy is to delete it or remove identifying details, subject to applicable retention obligations and backup processes. You may ask about information associated with you using the contact details below.
8. Security and processing locations
Our approach is to limit access to personal information to people and service providers who need it for the purposes described here and to use safeguards appropriate to the information and service. No website, email system, or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Please contact us if you believe information sent to us has been exposed or misused.
The operator is based in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations used by our service providers, including Cloudflare's international infrastructure and Google's infrastructure for analytics. Resend states that it stores customer data, including message content and delivery logs, in the United States; see its data location information. Privacy laws can differ between locations. Contact us if you have a question about where information associated with you is processed.
9. Privacy requests and rights
You may contact us to ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion, or raise a concern. Depending on your location and whether a particular law applies, you may have additional rights to access or obtain a copy of information, opt out of certain uses or disclosures, or appeal a decision about a request. Not every right applies to every person or activity, and legal exceptions may affect a request.
Email contact@propertyfixnow.com with “Privacy request” in the subject and describe what you are asking us to do. Identify the email address or interaction relevant to the request. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity or an authorized representative's authority, but do not send identity documents unless we explain why they are necessary and how to provide them appropriately.
We will handle requests within the period required by applicable law and explain if an exception prevents us from fulfilling a request. If you disagree with our response, reply to request further review; this does not prevent you from contacting the relevant regulator or exercising other rights available to you. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a protected privacy right.
10. External websites
Articles and author pages link to resources such as manufacturer websites, professional profiles, retailers, and public bodies. Following a link takes you to a separate service. Its operator controls its information practices, and its policy may differ from ours. Review that policy before providing personal information or making a purchase. Our commercial disclosure explains the planned role of advertising and affiliate links.
11. Children's privacy
PropertyFixNow is a general-audience publication for adult homeowners and people planning home projects. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate steps, including deletion where required.
12. Changes to this policy
We will revise this page when our practices change and update the date at the top. Material changes will receive any additional notice required by law. We will describe new advertising and analytics services, and material changes to contact-form processing, before introducing them. An updated notice does not by itself provide consent where consent is required.
